Managing your plan, seats, and brand allowances in MorningAI is now self-serve, transparent, and fast. This guide covers viewing your current plan, upgrading or downgrading, adding seats, adding brands, and seeing exactly what you will pay before you change anything.
Where to Find Plan Settings
Open Settings → Plan & Billing. You will see your current plan, included seats, included brands, your active billing cycle, and a clear breakdown of any add-ons.
Step-by-Step: Common Actions
Upgrade your plan.
- Click Compare plans.
- Pick a higher tier. The comparison shows what changes (seats, brands, AI credits, integrations).
- Click Upgrade. The pricing modal shows the prorated charge for the rest of your billing cycle and your new monthly total.
- Confirm. The upgrade is instant.
Downgrade your plan.
- Click Compare plans → pick a lower tier → Downgrade.
- Review what features you will lose at renewal. Confirm.
- The downgrade applies at the end of your current billing cycle.
Add seats.
- Click Manage seats.
- Increase the seat count.
- The pricing modal shows the prorated cost and updated monthly total.
- Confirm. New seats are available immediately.
Add brands.
Use the Brand Switcher → + Add Brand. The Add Brand modal is plan-aware: included brands are free, additional brands show their per-brand cost up front. Full details in How to Add Another Brand to MorningAI.
Update payment method. Settings → Plan & Billing → Payment Method → Update.
Download invoices. Settings → Plan & Billing → Invoices → click any month to download.
Pricing Transparency
Every change shows the cost before you commit:
- Plan upgrades show prorated charges and the new monthly total.
- Seat additions show prorated cost for the current cycle and new monthly total.
- Brand additions show the per-brand price (or "included" if you have free slots).
There are no surprises after the fact.
Pro Tips
Right-size on Mondays. Audit seats once a month. Archive inactive users (see Team Collaboration in MorningAI) and reduce seat count in the next cycle.
Use brand archive instead of delete. Archiving a brand keeps history but does not consume a brand slot.
Annual saves money. Switching from monthly to annual saves measurably on most plans. The pricing modal shows the side-by-side.
Upgrade for AI credits, not features, when applicable. If you are hitting credit caps frequently, the right action is often a tier with more credits rather than buying credit packs ad hoc.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I lose data if I downgrade? No. Data is retained. Some features (extra brands, integrations) become read-only or hidden until you re-upgrade.
Are seats global or per brand? Plans count seats globally across your account, not per brand. The same person across two brands counts as one seat.
What is an AI credit? Generated images, videos, and certain advanced AI operations consume credits. The Plan & Billing page shows your current usage.
Can I get a custom plan? Yes — for organizations with five or more brands, larger seat counts, or compliance requirements, contact sales from Settings → Plan & Billing → Talk to Sales.
