How to Connect Google Search Console and Google Analytics to MorningAI

Connect your Google Search Console and Google Analytics accounts to MorningAI and let the AI agent answer questions about your site’s search performance, traffic, and rankings—no exports required.

Connecting Google Search Console and Google Analytics to MorningAI lets the AI agent work directly with your site’s real performance data. Once connected, you can ask questions like “What are my top-performing pages this month?” or “Which search queries are driving the most clicks?” and get answers grounded in your actual data—no spreadsheet exports or copy-pasting required.

What You Can Do After Connecting

With Google Search Console connected, the agent can answer questions about:

  • Top-performing pages by impressions and clicks
  • Search queries that are driving or missing traffic
  • Pages with high impressions but low click-through rates
  • How your organic traffic has changed over time

With Google Analytics connected, the agent can also answer:

  • Traffic breakdown by channel, geography, and device
  • Mobile vs. desktop split
  • Revenue and conversion data (for e-commerce properties)
  • Landing page performance

How to Connect Google Search Console

  1. Open Settings from the left navigation.
  2. Go to Integrations (or Brand Integrations—the label depends on your account view).
  3. Find the Google Search Console connector card and click Connect.
  4. Complete the Google authorization flow. You’ll be asked to grant read access to your Search Console properties.
  5. Select the property you want to connect to this brand.
  6. Click Confirm. The connector card will show a green connected status.

Once connected, return to the AI agent and ask a question about your search performance. The agent will pull live data from your connected Search Console property.

How to Connect Google Analytics

  1. In the same Integrations section, find the Google Analytics connector card.
  2. Click Connect and complete the Google authorization flow.
  3. Select the GA4 property you want to connect.
  4. Click Confirm.

If your brand already has Google Search Console connected via the same Google account, you may be able to complete the GA connection without re-authorizing.

Asking the Agent About Your Data

Once connected, just ask naturally in the agent. Some examples:

  • “What were my top 10 pages by organic clicks last month?”
  • “Which queries are getting impressions but not clicks?”
  • “How has my organic traffic changed quarter over quarter?”
  • “What’s the breakdown of traffic by country this week?”
  • “What’s my mobile vs. desktop split?”

The agent will reference your connected data sources and return answers in plain language. You can follow up with clarifying questions in the same conversation.

Notes

  • One connection per brand. Each brand workspace has its own integrations. If you manage multiple brands in MorningAI, connect the relevant property for each brand separately.
  • Read-only access. MorningAI requests read-only access to your Google data. No changes are made to your Search Console or Analytics properties.
  • Google Analytics 4 only. The connector supports GA4 properties. Universal Analytics (UA) is not supported.
  • Revenue data. E-commerce revenue data is available if your GA4 property has enhanced e-commerce enabled.
