What Counts as a Favorite
You can favorite:
- Studio sessions and outputs
- Briefs and templates
- ProductDNA entries (specific SKUs you reference often)
- CustomerDNA personas
- Asset Library images and videos
- Visual styles
- Saved prompts in Chat
- Folders
Anything you favorite shows up in your Favorites view, accessible from the sidebar.
How to Favorite Something
Look for the star icon. It appears on:
- Item cards (hover to reveal).
- Detail modals (top-right).
- Sidebar entries with right-click → Add to Favorites.
- Asset Library tiles (top-right corner on hover).
Click the star to toggle on or off.
Recently Used
Recently Used is automatic. MorningAI tracks the last 50 items you opened across the active brand and surfaces them in:
- The Continue working module on Home (see Customize Your Home).
- The Recent tab in any picker (e.g., the Insert Image Modal, the Brand Switcher, the persona selector in Studio briefs).
Recently Used is per-user and per-brand. Switching brands shows that brand's recents.
Step-by-Step: Use Favorites in Daily Work
- Favorite the things you reuse. Brief templates, anchor personas, style references — star them once.
- Pin Favorites to the sidebar. From the Favorites view, drag your most-used items to the sidebar to pin them as one-click shortcuts.
- Combine with folders. Group favorites into folders for project-based access (see How to Create and Manage Folders in MorningAI).
Pro Tips
Favorite ruthlessly. Star anything you might reuse. It is easier to clean up later than to find buried items.
Unstar after a campaign ends. A two-week sweep keeps your Favorites view sharp. Move completed-campaign items into a folder instead.
Favorite styles for the brand voice. A handful of starred visual styles is often the difference between consistent brand output and chaos.
Pin three things to the sidebar, not thirty. Your sidebar is for the items you open every day. Anything else belongs in Favorites or a folder.

Are Favorites shared with my team? No. Favorites are personal. Use folders or shared collections to coordinate as a team.
Is there a Favorites limit? No practical limit, but a tidy list is faster to scan than a long one.
Can I favorite something across brands? Favorites are scoped to the brand they live in. Switching brands changes your Favorites view.
How does Recently Used handle items I have not opened in months? They drop off naturally as newer items take their place. Favorites do not.
