July 24, 2026 Product Updates: Sharper Generation, a Full Text Toolbar, and Bulk Download

This was a heavy shipping week for Studio and your files. We refreshed the image and video generation options behind the whole platform (same tiers, same credit pricing), rebuilt Studio's text toolbar with the full set of formatting controls, and made working with files faster everywhere — bulk download, instant blank documents, and file previews right inside Chat.

Images & Video

Refreshed image and video generation, same pricing

Following an internal quality audit, we upgraded the generation options behind image and video across the platform — Studio text-to-image, Virtual Try-On, done-for-you creative, blog featured images, and the assistant's image tool. The quality uplift applies automatically: no settings to change, and tier labels and credit costs stay exactly the same.

Standard-tier image generation now supports all 7 aspect ratios and up to 14 reference images. On the video side, text-to-video, image-to-video, frames-based video, quick-create social video, and Virtual Try-On animation all moved to newer options.

We also fixed the Aspect Ratio tool — including expand and reframe — so it now works correctly for every ratio.

Studio

A full text formatting toolbar

Studio's text toolbar now covers the full formatting set you'd expect from a professional design tool: underline and strikethrough (with a new Cmd/Ctrl+U shortcut), letter case options, bulleted and numbered lists, sliders for letter, line, and paragraph spacing, vertical alignment, and a transparency control.

We also rebuilt the Stroke and Positioning popovers: position and size fields are properly labeled (W/H/X/Y), the aspect-ratio lock actually works, there's a new rotation control, and arrow keys nudge elements precisely. The whole toolbar is reorganized into the layout you already know from mainstream design tools. The new controls are desktop-first — editing on phones and tablets is unchanged.

Blank documents open instantly

Opening a blank document, presentation, or canvas no longer runs the generation pipeline. The editor boots immediately — a skeleton that mirrors the finished editor appears from the first frame, then fades into the live editor in one smooth swap. Blank documents also get the full editor width, and they still receive a proper thumbnail in File Management. Reopening existing documents by link is faster too.

Bulk download

You can now multi-select files and folders in File Management and download them as one job. A progress toast keeps you posted while the archive is prepared, and a download ready notification tells you when it's done — large jobs are prepared in the background so you can keep working. The Download action lives in the selection bar and the right-click context menu across every view.

Chat

Preview files without downloading

Clicking a file in a conversation now opens a preview panel right beside the thread. We shipped real viewers for PDFs, Word documents, presentations (with slide rendering and tables), and spreadsheets — and the same viewers power the file preview in File Management, so you can check a document wherever you find it, no download needed.

Also in this release (smaller improvements & fixes)

• Fixed a crash that blocked the Aspect Ratio tool before any generation started.
• Expand and reframe now return correctly resized output instead of silently returning the original image.
• Non-square ULTRA aspect ratios now route correctly instead of being coerced to square.
• Studio's positioning fields are now labeled (W/H/X/Y) with a working aspect-ratio lock.
• File-system fixes: keyboard navigation, previews for Studio file types, the Recently Deleted view, video uploads, and copy/paste.
• Fixed uploads that could fail with an expired upload link.
• Cleaned up the chat composer's mention and slash-command dropdowns.
