June 12, 2026 Product Updates: Google Workspace Agents and Approval Controls
This week we shipped two major upgrades: Google Workspace connectors for agents and in-conversation approval controls with connector-level permissions.
This week, we shipped two high-impact updates that expand what agents can do while giving your team tighter control over actions. You can now connect Google Workspace tools directly to MorningAI agents, and you can approve or restrict sensitive actions before they run.
Integrations
Connect Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Calendar to agents
You can now connect your Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Calendar accounts directly in MorningAI and have agents work with those tools inside a conversation. This replaces manual context-switching between tabs for common tasks like finding files, drafting replies, and managing events. It is especially useful for teams running high-volume planning and execution workflows in one place. See setup steps →
Agents
Approve actions in chat and manage connector permissions
Agents now show approval prompts in conversation before certain sensitive actions run, and you can configure tool permissions by connector and action type. This replaces all-or-nothing access with a more precise control model, so teams can move fast without giving blanket permissions. It benefits teams that need stronger operational controls across shared accounts and workflows. Learn how to configure permissions →
Limitations and expectations
- These capabilities are rolling out in stages, so availability may vary by account or workspace.
- If you do not see a connector or permission control yet, your workspace may still be in rollout.
