July 3, 2026 Product Updates: Social Composer 3.0, Smarter Image Library, and Live Agent Research

Social composer 3.0, native calendar posts, a redesigned insert-image library, live agent web research, and shareable performance reports.

This week we doubled down on finishing work that actually ships: expert human retouching in Image Studio, clearer social performance reporting, and a publish composer that is finally easier to use day to day. We also rebuilt the insert-image library and cleaned up mobile Studio flows.

One note up front: we already introduced the end-to-end Image Studio retouch path in our June 26 update. This week is about leaning harder into that story — especially who does the finishing — and shipping the social and library improvements around it.

Image Studio

Expert human retouching — ex-McKinsey designers

When you choose Human Retouch, your request is not handed to a random freelancer. MorningAI's retouch designers are ex-McKinsey, and they have helped some of the top brands in the world. Mark up the image, describe the outcome, submit, and pull finished work from your brand's Retouched folder.

Use AI Edit when you need speed. Use human retouch when the asset has to look agency-finished on a homepage, PDP, or paid placement. Request retouch work →

Image Studio brief polish

The Studio brief now keeps an attachment summary tray for references, product images, and files, with clearer remove controls, a Start over action that resets brief state, and a multi-row product image gallery in the product detail slide-out.

Calendar & publishing

Performance reports you can actually share

Calendar cards can show impression and engagement metric pills. Analytics preferences persist across sessions. Social post history is expanded with table and timeline views plus a detail modal that combines media, metrics, and platform preview. Export a performance report as Word or PDF, and invite teammates to subscribe to report emails. Export and share reports →

A clearer publish composer

Composing and editing social posts now includes a clearer channel and platform row, caption editing with mention autocomplete, an emoji picker, platform-specific previews (including Instagram vertical), Instagram post-type selection, and a First comment field for text that auto-posts after publish. An assist panel can draft caption alternatives from short instructions and shows a simple quality indicator before you insert a draft. Per-platform Turn off comments works on LinkedIn; other platforms show the control disabled with an explanation when unavailable. Create and schedule a social post →

Files & Studio library

Redesigned insert-image library

The insert-image modal is now a library-style experience with rail navigation across collections, products, logos, Unsplash, and upload. Logos can include BrandDNA-sourced assets (with a BrandDNA chip, pinned in Logos). Multi-select across tabs lands in one shared tray so mixed picks insert together. How to insert an image →

Also in this release (smaller improvements & fixes)

  • Mobile Image Studio and insert-modal usability: viewport-aware layouts, pinned footers, and create actions that stay visible on iOS Safari
  • Mobile global nav: search moves out of the header; notifications and profile live in the drawer
  • Insert-modal search focus when opened over publish
  • Unsplash picks join the shared selection tray with library items
  • More reliable publish / video preview behavior in common edge cases
