How to Use the "Repaint" Feature in Studio

The "Repaint" feature lets you modify specific areas of an image using a brush tool. It’s perfect for refining visuals or making creative changes to targeted sections of your image.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Select the ImageOpen your project in Studio and choose the image you want to edit.

2. Access the Repaint Tool

  • Click on the magic star icon located in the main menu at the top.
  • From the pop-up menu, select the "Repaint" button.

For this example we're will Repaint the french fries to substitute it with a ketchup sauce bowl.

3. Adjust the Brush Size

  • Use the slider in the left panel to set the brush size (from 10px to 500px).
  • Smaller brush sizes are ideal for intricate areas, while larger sizes work best for broad sections.

4. Highlight the Areas to Repaint

  • Click and drag the brush over the parts of the image you’d like to modify.
  • You can zoom in and out for better precision.

It's important to highlight the entire area you plan on changing so the AI doesn't leave anything behind.‍

Note: Unlike Photoshop, you don’t need to be overly precise. The tool automatically blends the changes with the rest of the image.

5. Describe Your Edits

  • In the Edit box at the bottom, describe the changes you want applied to the highlighted areas.Example: "Change the background color to a vibrant blue" or "Repaint the shirt to make it green."

Once you're done repainting the area you want to change, you can describe what you want to see instead.

6. Submit Your Changes

  • Click the Submit button to apply the changes.

7. Review and Refine

  • If the results are not as expected, click the Undo button and try again. You can also reapply the brush to multiple areas simultaneously.
