The Asset Library is MorningAI's home for every image, video, and design asset you have uploaded, generated, or saved. Think of it as your brand's creative memory — searchable, organized, and one click away from any insert, brief, or post.
What Lives in the Asset Library
Everything visual you touch in MorningAI flows here:
- Images you upload from your computer.
- Images generated in Studio.
- Photos pulled from Unsplash through the Insert Image Modal.
- Try-On renders from Virtual Fashion.
- Imported product images from ProductDNA.
- Brand assets you save from Chat or Brief outputs.
Each asset is scoped to the active brand. Switching brands shows that brand's library.
Opening the Asset Library
Two ways:
- Click Asset Library in the sidebar to open the standalone view.
- Open the Insert Image Modal (see How to Insert an Image) — the first tab is your Asset Library.
Step-by-Step: Working with Assets
- Browse. Default view shows recent uploads. Sort by date, name, or type.
- Search. Use the search bar at the top. Searches match file name, tags, alt text, and (for generated assets) the prompt that created them.
- Filter. Filter by type (image / video), source (uploaded / generated / Unsplash), collection, or tag.
- Select. Click any asset to open the detail panel — preview, metadata, related assets, and quick actions.
- Edit metadata. Add or update tags, alt text, and a description. Better metadata makes future search faster.
- Move into a collection. Drag onto any collection in the left panel.
- Favorite. Click the star icon to favorite (see Favorites and Recently Used).
- Insert anywhere. From the detail panel, click Insert to drop the asset into the current document or canvas.
Collections vs Tags
Collections are folders. An asset can live in one collection at a time. Use collections for campaigns, seasons, or projects.
Tags are labels. An asset can have many tags. Use tags for transversal qualities — hero, product-shot, lifestyle, color:blue.
Most teams settle on one campaign collection plus a small set of standard tags. That combination handles 95% of finding-things-fast.
Pro Tips
Tag at upload time. A two-second tag while you upload saves a thirty-second search later. Tag by campaign and primary subject at minimum.
Use search before browsing. Even with thousands of assets, search by prompt or tag is almost always faster than scrolling.
Make a "Hero" collection. A small collection of go-to brand images that should anchor most campaigns. Lives at the top of the sidebar.
Promote winners. When a Try-On render or a generated image becomes a hero, favorite it and add a winner tag. Easy to surface for the next campaign.
Audit quarterly. A 15-minute quarterly cleanup (delete duplicates, refresh tags, archive obsolete campaign collections) keeps the library fast.
